| A Beautiful Sound |
 There is nothing sweeter than the sound of my five year old reciting the Lord's Prayer. About a month ago I started saying it with him and his brother during our nightly bed time routine, having them repeat after me. Last week he started saying it on his own. Last night he said he wanted to lead us in the Lord's prayer and belted it out as if he had been saying it for years.
I've said it since I was a kid. I have recited it as an adult in worship services, at family gatherings, and in my own personal times of prayer. Yet, I have never heard it sound so sweet as when Cole said it last night. It adds so much more to the meaning of it for me. He also asked me last night about God being our "heavenly Father". Pretty cool. |
